Avacado is a Fruit
Adelyn had her first non-cereal food this morning. We gave her avacado, which she seemed to enjoy. She was squealing for more so we assume so. I realize now though that we broke 'the rule' as to introduce veggies and then fruit as avacado is a fruit not a veggie. Well, it seems more like a veggie so maybe she won't know the difference. I was thinking of sweet potato next--that's a veggie right? So, if all goes well, she should be able to enjoy some avacado, sweet potato and tasty rice cereal during the Christmas feast. (maybe not all at once but I'm sure we'll be eating leftovers more then once :)

I wonder at what age will you get blogged and pictured out? I enjoy the blogs so hopefully not for a long time:) It just seems there are so many pictures of you guys on a daily basis. How can you keep up this pace?
While you are feeding my neice such healthy foods you may as well toss some chocolate fudge in her mouth. Choco bean i.e. plant i.e. veggy. Seems like good logic when you stretch it out doesn't it? Oh and top it off with a bottle of Coffey that is a bean too. :)
I agree! She's going to go through caffiene withdraws when you change to drinking some decaf in your diet! Can't wait to see her eat avacados!
i wouldn't count avacado as a fruit although it is quite tastey! i'm glad things are going good with the feeding. yeah, i usually have her dressed and with a bib, but we figured she would love to get super messy all over since it was just for her to play in anyway. (she did sneak a few licks though!) sweet potatoes seem to be a big hit among every baby i've met :) hopefully she will enjoy her "christmas dinner"!

yeah, what's the deal? by the time a new post is on here, Adelyn would probably have been able to write it herself j/k! hope you guys are doing well and had a great christmas and new years!
