We took Adelyn to the MN zoo for Halloween last night. They had the indoor trails open with some trick or treat stands, a haunted house to walk thru (Adelyn was too scared to head in though) and a band so the kids could dance. We spent most of our time dancing and singing. She seemed to have a lot of fun!

I wouldn't go so far as to say fall is my favorite season, but yesterday was such a perfect sunny day that I at least came closer to understanding how it is for many people. Adelyn can now recognize a park as we drive by and calls out 'park' from the back seat. She is pretty brave and loves exploring. She has a blast hanging out with Chloe. Part of me wishes this new baby could be a 1 yr old and ready to play with Adelyn. But of course the other part of me can't wait to snuggle a new little baby and enjoy the moments before they start squirming and running away. Happy Friday!

Fall Photo Update

Since I am a few weeks behind on what we have been keeping busy with, I figured I'd get caught up with one big photo post before another weekend comes and I get even farther behind! (sorry, I had issues narrowing down what photos to post) We have been enjoying fall and watching Adelyn explore the new scenery. The new baby has been wiggling a lot which has been really fun for me. Only a little over a week until we get to have the 20 week ultrasound! As of today the gender will remain a surprise. I'll update you should that change...

These photos are from a few Fridays ago, hence the summer clothes vs 'fall attire' but the girls had so much fun together I had to still post them. Our good friend from Hibbing, Mary, brought two of her granddaughters over to play for a few hours while they were in town. Despite a few fights over the baby stroller they were able to move on and have a great time. All four girls are pretty capable of 'holding their own' if you will. Girls Rock!
